Dr. John Williams Jr.

John Williams is a native of Albany, GA and a graduate of Albany State University, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. As a Gates Millennium Scholar and Bridge to Doctorate Fellow, he attended Florida State University, where he received his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology. Currently, Dr. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Albany State University, where he specializes in teaching Anatomy and Physiology, and conducts research with undergraduates in cellular biology. His research focuses on protein-protein interactions in the myocardium and the implementation of protein visualization techniques in cardiovascular studies.
